Why check PDF accessibility?

Accessible documents are important for users with disabilities, for government compliance and for better usability. A tagged PDF with a proper structure tree and language setting allows screen readers to navigate headings, paragraphs and tables in the correct order. Without tags or searchable text, the document may be unreadable for assistive technology.

Important limitations

This tool performs an indicator check, not a full WCAG or PDF/UA certification. It cannot automatically verify reading order accuracy, quality of alternative text, color contrast or logical structure. Manual review is still required for complete accessibility compliance.
